Steps

1. Complete removal of the existing roof system including old roof covering, asphalt sealants, asphalt paper, boots, vents, and fasteners. Prepare any tie-in areas to existing roofs for reroof application.
2. Remove and replace any and all rotted roof sheathing throughout entire roof area.
3. Remove and replace any and all rotted fascia board that is accessible without the removal of exterior structures.
4. Refasten entire roof deck using 8d ring shank nails to “Code Plus” strength. NOTE: This step may qualify for insurance reductions.
5. Install self-adhered modified rubber metal underlayment entire roof area.
6. Install new modified rubber flat roof membrane at dead valley/wall/chimney detail areas, fastened, sealed, and anchored to wall using fascia/cap anchor bar, where applicable.
7. Install new modified rubber flat roof membrane at flat roof tie-in, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
8. Install new VELUX self-flashed, all-in-one, leak proof, hurricane tempered glass skylights over existing openings, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
9. Install new EPDM compression boots over plumbing stacks, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
10. Install new vents over exhaust openings, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
11. Install new pre-painted drip edge flashings entire perimeter of roof, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
12. Install new valley metal down all valley areas, fastened and sealed, where applicable.
13. Paint all boots and vents to match metal color, where applicable.
14. Install new solar powered attic ventilators with thermostat control for proper attic ventilation, fastened and sealed, where applicable.

16. Install new 5 "V" crimp, standing seam or stone coated steel metal roof system entire roof area, fastened as to achieve “Code Plus” wind design.
17. Install cap metal at all hip & ridge areas, fastened, where applicable.
18. Clean up and remove all debris. Use magnet to remove fasteners from lawn.
19. Schedule a certified inspector to complete a full warranty inspection of the roof.
